Before founding the troupe, Lin Chih-Ping was a dancer and was acclaimed by the Taiwan Performing Arts Review as “The Hottest Star in Dance”. He was one of the top contemporary dancers in Taiwan and received much attention. Since 1997, he participated in performances with many dance and theater troupes, such as “Century Contemporary Dance Company”, “Sun-Shier Dance Theatre”, “Lin HH Dance”, “Assembly Dance Theatre”, and many others.
After collaborating with many choreographers and troupes, Lin Chih-Ping decided to integrate his other talent, “Jazz Dance”, to form the Juedai Contemporary Jazz Dance Theater with his wife in 2005, so that he could put his beliefs of “Dancing can be much easier” into action.

He graduated from Department of Dance (Masters), University of Taipei, graduated from Department of Dance (Bachelor), National Taiwan University of Arts. Currently serves as part-time instructor at National College of Performing Arts, Department of Dance University of Taipei and National Taiwan University of Arts.

2015: Led Juedai Contemporary Jazz Dance Theater to participate in 2015 Fringe Manila Festival
2015: World Games Dance Choreography for Taiwan Flag-Passing Ceremony in South Korea
2015: Teaching activity during exchange in Nanjing, China
2015 Teaching activity during exchange in Malaysia
2014: Performed in Opening Ceremony in 2014 Asia-Pacific Traditional Arts Festival in Beijing and participated in teaching activities
2014: Led Juedai Contemporary Jazz Dance Theater to perform in Malaysia Sibu International Dance Festival and organized lectures, forums, and teaching exchange activities
2013: Dance Choreography for National High School Athletic Games Opening and Closing Ceremony
2006: Invited to choreograph for “In Love with Carmen” opera for Taiwanese popular singer Chang Hui-Mei
2005: Participated in “Red and White” by “Assembly Dance Theatre” in the New York International Dance Festival
2004: Participated in “East Meeting” by “Assembly Dance Theatre” in New York International Dance Festival and Edinburgh Festival Fringe
 
Production: 2005~2016 Jue Xing, Feng Hua Jue Dai, The Drink Culture , Xiao Feng Chu , Woolly Tone, FIVES, Chicken Soup for the Soul Ⅱ, Jia Guan Jin Jue, The Red House, Jazz Feast ,The Wind Blows Taiwan and many others of Contemporary Jazz Dance Theatre.
